Toklas X Poon's Almond Cookies

Kung Hei Fat Choi! 

These almond cookies were inspired by my dear friend, Nicholas Chan, who bakes them in memory of his granny. For me, they are the embodiment of edible love. Traditionally, almond cookies are bite size. They symbolise coins and are an emblem of good fortune. They are often gifted at Chinese New Year, bestowing prosperity on the recipient. Our clever, talented, taste-making friends at @Toklas decided bigger cookies mean more fortune. I think we can all raise a cookie to that! Gung hei fat choy! 🍪🎋🧧🍊

Each packet has six cookies and is hand-tied with red ribbon.  Available to purchase online from Thursday 23rd January (delivery from 27th January)

Also available from Poon’s London at Spa Terminus on Saturday 25th January and Saturday 1st February 10am to 2pm, as well as the Toklas Bakery from Monday 27th January.
