Taking motifs from our sauce labels, we have collaborated with Yuet Tung in Hong Kong on a limited edition of porcelain dipping dishes with matching spoons. They are available individually or as a set. I think they’re rather pretty and I hope you do too.
Established in 1928, Yuet Tung is the last remaining hand-painted porcelain factory in Hong Kong. The artists here specialize in “Guangcai,” a technique dating from the Qing Dynasty, associated with vibrant colours and refined craftsmanship. I don’t remember how I discovered Yuet Tung but my first pilgrimage over 10 years ago formed an itch that will forever need scratching! If you are ever in HK, you must visit but caveat emptor, it is highly addictive and could lead to financial ruin.
